Two Rogues cross a dusk plain scattered with glowing crystal spires

Community spotlight: the six minute Glasswood run

A three-person crew found a route through Glasswood that nobody on the team knew existed. We asked them how they did it.

When Glasswood launched in July, our internal record for a full drop, from landing to extraction with a resonance core, was eleven minutes. A week later a crew called Static Bloom did it in six.

The route

The trick is the crystals themselves. Shattering a resonance crystal sends out a pulse that knocks back anything nearby, including you. Static Bloom chain three of them along the northern ridge and launch their Pathfinder across a gap we never meant to be crossable.

Should we fix it?

We talked about it for a long time and decided not to. It takes a perfectly timed Pathfinder grapple, two teammates willing to take the knockback damage, and a route that leaves the crew with almost no shields at extraction. It is risky, it is skillful and it is very Rogue.
