Season 02: Whiteout arrives November 13

Season 02 takes Rogue somewhere we have wanted to go since the first prototype: up. Whiteout launches November 13 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it is free for everyone who owns the game.

Frostline

Frostline is our largest zone yet, built around the impact site of the Meridian Ring. The ring came down in pieces, and the biggest one still stands half buried in the snow, a kilometer-wide arch you can see from anywhere on the map.

Frostline is high, cold and exposed. Your shields recharge slower in the wind, footprints stay in the snow for a full minute, and the best salvage is buried in the drifts around the ring.

Dynamic blizzards

Weather in Frostline is not a backdrop. Every few minutes a front rolls in and visibility drops to a few meters. Wardens hunt by heat during a whiteout, so the safest place to be is often the coldest.

• Blizzards are announced on the HUD sixty seconds before they hit
• Thermal cloaks hide you from Warden sensors but drain your shield
• Extraction lifts cannot land during a whiteout, so plan your exit

Warden Prime

The Warden that guards the ring is bigger, smarter and angrier than anything you have faced. Warden Prime patrols the ring and calls in Seeker swarms when it is damaged. Bring it down and the crew that lands the final shot gets the season’s rarest salvage.

Extraction, reworked

We heard you. Extraction in Season 02 gives the holding crew more room to breathe:

1. Lifts now show their landing timer to every crew in the zone
2. Holding the beacon builds a shield charge for your whole crew
3. A failed extraction drops half your haul instead of all of it

Everything else

Season 02 also brings two new weapons, the Hollow hideout upgrade tree, ranked crews for solo players and more than three hundred fixes. Full patch notes go live on launch day.
